2007-2008 Rehearsal Schedule

Both the Symphony and Sinfonietta rehearse on Mondays, unless otherwise noted.  Sinfonietta rehearses from 5:15 to 6:30, and Symphony rehearses from 6:45 to 9:00 pm. All rehearsals located in Barker Hall, downstairs in the Mt. View United Methodist Church, 355 Ponca Place in Boulder.

Students should bring their own music stands.

Our Current Rehearsal Schedule:

First Concert Block:
August 27th: Sinfonietta students will be meeting and rehearsing from 5:15 to 6:00. HPYS potluck dinner will be from 6:00 to 6:30.
There will be a mandatory parent meeting from 6:30 to 7:15. Symphony will meet and rehearse from 7:15 to 8:30. (Sinfonietta parents please note: Emily will be handing out the music immediately following the rehearsal)

September: 10, 17, 24.
October: 1, 8, 15, 22, 29.
**Tuesday Oct. 30 6:45 dress rehearsal for Symphony only!!

Concert Sunday, November 4th, 2:30pm
Symphony 1:00 warm up, Sinfonietta 1:30 warm up.

Second Concert Block:
Nov. 5,12, 26
Dec. 3,10,17
Jan.14, 21, 28
**Tues. Jan. 29th 6:45 rehearsal for Symphony only!

Concert Sunday Feb. 3rd, 2:30pm
Symphony 1:00 warm up, Sinfonietta 1:30 warm up.

Third Concert Block:
Feb. 4,11,25.
Mar. 3,10, 17, 31.
April 7, 14, 21
May 5

Friday May 9th 7:00-9:00pm
Dress Rehearsal Symphony Members Only! Grusin Concert Hall!

Concert Saturday May 10th, 7:00 pm
5:30 Symphony warm up, 6:00 Sinfonietta warm up.
7:00 Concert, Grusin Recital Hall, CU College of Music!
